the end

This rope looks familiar
I've been at the end of it before
and here I am again

Is this the same thread
I've been hangin' by all this time
out of mind

Can I rearrange my feelings
and store them away for later
for when I'm not so weak?

I look around for missing pieces
that make the picture make sense
then I find your words

Come to Me ... come to Me
All who are burdened ... come to Me

Come to Me ... come to Me
All who are thirsty ... come to Me

Tapestry ravel

All of this skillful work undone

Where do I begin?

People that I love

coming apart at the seams
right before my eyes

My heart is sick of hoping

The strength I have is failing

This is where we fell

I am powerless to change this

All I can do is hold them

until the morning comes

Come to Me ... come to Me
You who are weary ... come to Me

Come to Me ... come to Me
Living water I give you ... come to Me

Matthew 11:28-30

God could remove suffering and trials from life, but they have a purpose, and if we turn to Him we will find rest and peace that defy logic.  When we come to Jesus it is not the end of suffering, but it is the end of hopelessness,
